Leldon Rose Matthews Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leldon Rose Matthews of Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Eldon Ray (Rosa Lee Hammond); her husband Joe Matthews; her son Bill; her parents, Joe Hammond and Rosa Lee Hammond; and her brothers, Walter and Bill.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Barbara Bird and Virginia Hammond; her niece Kathy (Jenny); her nephew Ken (Kathie); and her grandchildren, Caleb, Luke, Joshua, Rebekah, Jessica, Nichole and Mia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weston United Methodist Church (533 Main St, Weston, MO 64098). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
