He was predeceased by: his parents, James Courtney and Maxine Courtney; his wife Janice; his sister Stella; his brother-in-law Buddy; and his nephew Shawn.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua Courtney (Linda), Benjamin Courtney (Alissa), Chuck Hilditch (Mary) and Sheila Greene; his grandchildren, Joey, Christopher, Dillon, Anthony and London; his great grandchildren, Eliza-Jayne and Kaydence; and his sister Diane Carter (Frank).
