It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Pickrell (Platte City, Missouri), born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Isaac and Irene Matilda Pickrell (Anderson); his son Michael; his brother Phillip Amil Pickrell; his stepfather Mel Nelson; and his former wife Sherrie Pickrell.
He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Hannah; his foster son Shawn Neustadt; his daughter Patricia Thompson; and his sister Deanna Kay VanDorn. He is also survived by 1 niece; 3 nephews; and extended family and friends.
