Donovan Wingate Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2022, Donovan Wingate (Platte City, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Christine Wingate; and his siblings, Bill Wingate (Janet), Herbert Wingate and Frances. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Wingate (Blankenship); his son David Donovan Wingate (Georgette); his stepson Jon Harrington (Theresa); his grandchildren, Megan Shelton (Marty), Becky Keadle, Christopher Palmer, Kayla Long, Austin Long, Taylor Anne Wingate and David Harrington; his great grandchild Emerald Shelton; and his sister-in-law Ann Wingate. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, Platte City United Methodist Church or Platte Woods United Methodist Church.
