It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don M. Edwards (Platte City, Missouri), who passed away on December 3, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Edwards; his daughters, Donnis Turner and Gayle Hunter; and his siblings, Willard Edwards and Eddie Gray.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 6th, at First Christian Church, Platte City, MO Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 7th, at the church Burial: Platte City Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Platte County Farm Bureau Scholarship Fund, the First Christian Church, or the Carol Pettis Liver/Lung Transplant Endowment KU Med Center.Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
