It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Monroe Newport of Platte City, Missouri, born in Lexington, Missouri, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville H. Newport and Ruth M. Newport (Bell). He is survived by: his wife La Donna; his children, Aaron Newport and Andrea Lasley (Rod); his grandson Gage Jacobs-Newport; his brothers, Bill Newport and Roger Newport (Pat); and his niece Debbie Newport.
