With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Dennis of Platte City, Missouri, born in Smithville, Missouri, who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Dennis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Bills Whitters. She is survived by: her father Paul Risdon Whitters of Platte City; her sons, Andrew and Christopher; her close friend David Schrage of Platte City, MO; and her siblings, Rob Whitters (Kathy), Greg Whitters (Deborah), Jim Whitters (Pam) and Susan Sartain. She is also survived by numerous nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, and because of Bobbi's love for nature, may we suggest planting a tree in her honor, donating to A Living Tribute (alivingtribute.org) supporting national and community reforestation efforts, or perhaps a donation to a local garden club or charity of choice.
