It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Newman of Platte City, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Basil Kermit and Helen Elsie Hersey (Cromer); her former spouse Jerry Applequist; her husband Lloyd Allen Newman; her children, Vicki Hylton, Dru Applequist, Susan Mulally and Glenda Farmer; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hetherington (Jason), Dustin Hylton (Jessica), Lexi Applequist, Erin Mulally, Shauna Pope and Jonathan Pope (Brandi); her sister Beverly Untrif; and her nieces, Ginger Rhodes (Richard), Denise Lynn (Mark) and Sheryl Reigel (Bill). She was also cherished by other relatives and many, many friends.
