She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard William and Anna May Penn (Cantrell); her husband Lester Hobbs; her child Mary Jane Hobbs; and her siblings, Chester Penn, Oscar Penn, Floyd Penn, Sherman Penn, Frank Penn, Ruby Murphy, Virgie Hobbs, Jane Murphy and Bonnie Penn.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Hobbs (Lynn) of Thayer, Karen Tompkins, Patricia Bragg of Gentry and Tommy Hobbs (Pam) of Pineville; and her siblings, Louis Penn and Freida Burnett. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
