He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McNelly and Hazel McNelly; his daughter Brenda McNelly; and his siblings, Larry, Irvin McNelly and Verginia Warren.
He is survived by: his wife LaVina Sigler McNelly; his children, Carolyn York (Terry), Danna Sands (Dale) and Jerry McNelly (Diana); his grandchildren, Karen Scherrer, Ryan West, Adam West, Jerran Winn and Carter York; and his siblings, Joyce Bone, Lometa Sandlin, Lawanda Shockley (Don), Linda Gorman, Pat Stanfield and Mary Dillow (Calvin). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
