He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Hill and Clara Belle Schlotzhauer Sr. (Wolfe); and his brothers, Charles Lee (Linda), Milton "Buddy" Jr. (Betty Lou) and Maurice.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Pethan; his sons, Randy Schlotzhauer (Candy), Kevin Schlotzhauer of Pilot Grove, MO and Brent Schlotzhauer (Beth) of Higginsville, MO.; and his grandchildren, Justin Schlotzhauer (Sarah), Brandy Skaggs (Derek), Tailor Schlotzhauer, Melissa Leverton (Jake), Mason Schlotzhauer (Noelle) and Chris Schlotzhauer. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
