He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Willie" Vollmer and Martha Lena Vollmer (Kempf). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Wassman; his daughters, Jennifer Peterson (Jaret) of Pilot Grove, Katie Vollmer of Pilot Grove and Robin Bryan (Mike) of Boonville; his grandchildren, Grace of Pilot Grove, Natalie of Pilot Grove and Jesse Peterson of Pilot Grove; and his siblings, Judy Gantner (John), Kenneth "George" Vollmer, Darrell Vollmer, Terry Vollmer (Betty), Patty Smith (Eddie) and Sue Clarke (Kenny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A rosary was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (405 Harris St, Pilot Grove, MO 65276). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Betty J Vollmer.
