He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Willie" Vollmer and Martha Lena Vollmer (Kempf). He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Wassman; his daughters, Jennifer Peterson (Jaret) of Pilot Grove, Katie Vollmer of Pilot Grove and Robin Bryan (Mike) of Boonville; his grandchildren, Grace of Pilot Grove, Natalie of Pilot Grove and Jesse Peterson of Pilot Grove; and his siblings, Judy Gantner (John), Kenneth "George" Vollmer, Darrell Vollmer, Terry Vollmer (Betty), Patty Smith (Eddie) and Sue Clarke (Kenny). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
