He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Knedgen and Frances Knedgen (Larm); his daughter Delores Burke; and his siblings, Vernon Knedgen, Bonnie Siegel and Dorrine Mazur.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Ann Meyers; his daughters, Joyce Lorenz (Tony) and Karen Wesselman (Mike); his son-in-law Mike Burke of Pilot Grove; and his grandchildren, Michelle Wolfe (Brian), Jamie Burke, Kara Klein (Kevin), Brent Lorenz (Kayla), Kyle Lorenz (Katelyn), Ryan Lorenz (Clarissa), Amber Schuster (Evan), Chelsea Rice (Jake), Heather Acton (Taylor) and Mikala Wesselman (Brandon). He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
