She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lawson and Alberta Lawson (Bowman); her husband Jerry M Hix; and her brothers, Lloyd Lawson and Ed Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Shandy Vollrath (Hix); her son-in-law Kevin Vollrath of Lawrence, KS.; her granddaughters, Catherine Vollrath and Caroline Vollrath of Seattle, WA; her brother Chris Lawson of Centralia, MO; and her friend Craig Gillard of Overbrook, KS.
In lieu of flowers, because Beverly loved animals so much, a donation to the Lawrence Humane Society, Lawrence, KS in her honor is appreciated.
