He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Bowen and Lillian Bowen (Koenig). He is survived by: his wife Janice Essary; his children, Nathan Bowen, Justin Bowen (Stacy), Jacob Bowen (Clarissa), Tim Fischer (Melissa), James Fischer (Dori) and Pam Spencer (Matt); and his siblings, Ron Bowen, Marsha Brown, Nancy Fleming and Joan Bowen. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
