He was predeceased by: his sisters, Madge Meadows and Jeanette Wolfe. He is survived by: his parents, William Burton and Ilse Burton (Foltin); his siblings, Frank Burton of Joplin and Anna Thomas (Tod) of Monett; and his aunts and uncles, Madge Larkin, Elizabeth, Don Pennel, Emma Jean, Bob McCormick, Phyllis Burton, Judy Burton and Sam Burton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the D.A.V. in care of the funeral home.
