She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Miller and Martha Miller (Bounous); her husband Harold Merritt; her son Robert Merritt; and her sister Carol Avondet.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Merritt (Jeanna) of Wentworth, MO and Cindy Weibel (Aaron) of Pierce City, MO; and her grandchildren, Summer Enlow (Shane), Jordan Merritt (Victoria), Traci Teague (Jason), Whitney Weibel and Courtney Maxey (Garrett). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (21819 State Hwy 97, Pierce City, MO 65723). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made, in Marian's memory, to the Pierce City Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
