He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hixson; his sons, Robert Carter (Cindy) of Wentzville and Jody Carter of Oklahoma City; his granddaughters, Angela Carter and Brittany Carter; his great grandchild Carter Miller; and his brother George Carter (Kay) of House Springs.
