He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayes Lovelace and Sheila Lovelace; his son John R. Sutton; and his grandson Alon Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Faye Sutton; his children, James Sutton, Jr. of McCormick, SC and Janet Rose (Gary) of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Jamie Sutton, T. J. Sutton, John Ryan Sutton, Houston Sutton, Tyler Rose (Alesha) and Lindsey Wyatt (Tommy); and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Gavin, Raylan, Jonathan Sutton, Rylee, Owen Rose, Thomas, Bentlee and Cooper Wyatt.
