He is survived by: his children, Carrie Jean Whitney of Lake Ozarks, MO, Christine Marie Shaver of Piedmont, Edward Joseph Whitney of Piedmont, Johnathon Daniel Whitney of Marshall, TX, Kelly Gene Whitney of Antwerp, OH and Michael Thomas Whitney of Patterson; and his siblings, Jimie James Whitney of Patterson, David Joseph Whitney of Piedmont and Judy Lowers of Piedmont. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
