He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold E. Hughes and Virgie L. Hughes (Hicks); and his sister-in-law Sandy Clyburn. He is survived by: his wife Emily "Elaine" Hodge; his sons, Todd Hughes (Angela) of Springfield, Troy Hughes (Tedi) of Jefferson City and Tony Hughes (Jessica) of Patterson; his grandchildren, Tanner, Tayla, Toby, Cody, Carter Hughes and Lauren Wheelehon; his sister Anna Lea Ross of Piedmont; his nephew Jeff Ross of Piedmont; his niece Lisa Ross of Piedmont; and his sister-in-law Gail Bauer of Rolla. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
