He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Laxton and Phyllis Laxton (Jarrett); and his brother Barry. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Bilbrey; his children, Michael "Ray" Shaw (Dawn) of Gillespie, IL, Lisa Jarrett and Mike Conlee of Gillespie, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Shaw (Brandy), Joseph Jarrett (Abby), Amber Niehaus (Braden), Alexandra Conlee and Austin Conlee; his great grandchildren, Camden, Aubrey, Sage, Emma, Parker, Jack, Landon, Chandlor, Mack, Cooper and Myka; and his sisters, Lorene and Brenda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
