It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Yates (Phillipsburg, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Laney Yates and Leona Yates; his grandchild Bonkers; his grandfather Cheeto; his siblings, Ronnie, Bonnie, Betty, Mary and George; his children, Shellie Travis (Gilbert), Damian Yates, Joe Yates and Megan Cook (Caleb); his grandsons, Raymond Jeffries (Haley Yates), Blake and Jack (Harper Cook); and his sister Linda Yates. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
