He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Wayne and Mildred Orpah Gerard Straus; his wife Sharon Straus of Philadelphia, MO; his children, Loretta "Lori" Maddox (David) of Palmyra, MO, Christina "Tina" Lovelace (Mark) and Gregory Straus (Julie) of Philadelphia, MO; his grandchildren, Shelby Lovelace (Dawnie Jo), Elizabeth Straus, Jory Maddox, Dakota Maddox and Delaney Straus; his great grandchild Ethan Lovelace; and his brother Gary Straus.
