He is survived by: his wife Esther Ann Hirner of Philadelphia, MO; his children, Cathy Otten (James), William J. Hirner (Kena), Lori Mae Hirner and Russell T. Hirner; his siblings, Patrick Joseph Hirner, Thomas Wayne Hirner and Elizabeth Josephine Franklin; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Wheeler, W. Landen Tharp (Brandie), Mikaela Garth (Steve), Joseph Hirner (Leah), Alissa Hirner, William R. Hirner (Merari), Paul Hirner (Danielle), Joshua Hirner (Nicole) and Melissa Hirner. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
