He is survived by: his wife Ruth Klote; his children, Tammi Kettenbach (Don) of Jerseyville, IL, Russell Hettinger (Teresa) of Philadelphia, MO, Richelle Behring (Gale) of Hunnewell, MO, Randell Hettinger (Lauren) of Timewell, IL. and Rodney Miller (Carol) of Palmyra, MO.; his grandchildren, Leah Hirner (Joe) of Rock Port, MO, Paul Kettenbach (Caitlin) of St. Louis, MO, Reann Redd (Tyler) of Palmyra, MO, Matthew Kettenbach (Katie) of Troy, MO, Megan Behring (Jared Knipfel) of Columbia, MO, Randy Hettinger (Tabitha) of LaPlata, MO, Amy Sutcliffe (Andy) of Freeman, MO, Kim Davis (Drew) of Bunceton, MO, Risa Porter (David) of Palmyra, MO, Adair Behring of Hunnewell, MO and Lance Hettinger of Palmyra, MO.; his stepgrandson Parker Seckman of Timewell; and his granddaughter-in-law Amber Hettinger of Camano Island, WA. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel (408 E Morgan, Edina, MO 63537). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Edina Christian Church or St. Joseph Cemetery.
