It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Allen Kennedy of Pevely, Missouri, born in Fredericktown, Missouri, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kennedy and Bertha Kennedy (Green); his son Scott Kennedy; and his siblings, Johnny Mitten, J. R. Mitten, Owen Kennedy, Jay Kennedy, Opel Mitten, Ruth Mitten, Betty Kennedy, Ester Simmons, Norma Jean Baker and Vera Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia S. Kennedy (Portell) of Pevely, MO; his children, Joe Kennedy Jr. (Michelle) of Festus, MO, Amy Kennedy of Pevely, MO, Rhonda Bonds (Andy) of Festus, MO, Phyllis Helms (late Terry) of Ohio and Carla Strnad (Barry) of Festus, MO; and his sister Glenda Fox of Michigan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
