He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. and Lucille Blechle Sr. (French); his stepchildren, Sheila Favier and Mike Martin; his son-in-law Mark Abell; and his siblings, Pat Schumer, Henry B. Blechle Jr., Edgar Blechle and John Blechle.

He is survived by: his children, David Blechle (Donna) of Perryville, Dale Blechle (Kim) of Perryville, Dean Blechle (Connie) of Perryville, Donna Abell of Perryville and Darla Blechle of Perryville; his stepdaughter Rhonda Haskins (Dennis) of Springfield, MO; his brother Jim Blechle (Clara) of Old Appleton; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Blechle (John) of Perryville and Russell Schumer of Old Appleton. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
