He is survived by: his children, Merlin Welty Jr of Perryville and Robin Pfeiffer of Perryville; his siblings, Bonnie Heberlie of Festus, Sharon Boland of Perryville, Michael Welty of Perryville and Dale Welty of Perryville; and his grandchildren, Tyler Mattingly, Logan Welty, Chelsey Mattingly, Damon Welty, Blake Pfeiffer and Brandon Welty.
