He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Boxdorfer and Marie E. Boxdorfer (Hoffman); and his siblings, Marvin Boxdorfer, Euline Tayon, Betty Brannon and Marcella Boxdorfer.

He is survived by: his daughters, Brandi Boxdorfer of Perryville and Mindy Koehler (Doug) of Jackson; his siblings, Goldie Panhorst (Frank) of St. Louis, Juanita Gore (Bob) of Wright City, MO, Sandy Glaub (Bob) of Malden, MO and Steven Boxdorfer (Catherine) of Perryville; his grandson Trent Boxdorfer; and his stepgrandchildren, Trey, Raelyn, Kiya, Amiyah, Layla and Tyton Koehler.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Red Cross or the Association of the Miraculous Medal.
