He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie R. Peer and Velma T. Peer (Mattingly); and his siblings, Larry Peer, Leslie "Jim" Peer, LaVesta Colin (Stanley), Patricia Weibrecht (Larry "Doc") and Michael Peer.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Leimbach (Cary) of Naples, Florida, Kelly Ponder (Chris) of Perryville, Tiphany Murillo (Brad Coffman) of Jackson, Ashley Peer (Ryon Lohmann) of Perryville and Dustin Peer (Courtney) of Perryville; his siblings, Francis "Frank" Peer (Kim) of Jay, Robert "Bobby" Peer (Carolyn) of Perryville, Wanda Brandt (Jerry) of Perryville, Sheila Brown (Benjamin) of St. Louis, Sandra Thornberry (Leslie "Butch") of Moore, Oklahoma and Sharon Weisbrod (Harold Jr.) of Perryville; and his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Peer (late Leslie "Jim") of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and another on the way; two great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the River Hills Eagles Aerie #4034 (2746 W St Joseph St, Perryville, MO 63775).
If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests the American Diabetes Association or the Missouri Veterans Home Foundation in Cape Girardeau.
