He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Elam and Jane DuBray Elam; and his brother Bob Elam. He is survived by: his spouse Ronda Poage; his sons, Cedric Elam (Jessica) of Chicago, IL and James Elam (Sarah) of St. Louis; his sisters, Judy Kay Saffern (David) of Falls Church, VA, Marla Ambrosia (Bill) of Riverdale, GA and Dulcye Tillmann of Leesburg, FL; and his grandchildren, Aria and Leo Elam. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
