He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Saunders and Martha Smith Saunders; his wife Dorothy A Lamb; his brothers, Richard and Jesse Saunders; and his son-in-law Curtis Kaler.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Hartman (Doug) of Bradford, OH; and his children, Jerry Saunders (Peggy), Tammi Osornio (Felipe), Terri Saunders of Perry, Lori Eckhoff (Jericho) of Vandalia and Christina Kaler of Perry. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
