With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Owsley (Perry, Missouri), born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Owsley and Wanda J. Happel Owsley; his sister Marcia Pontius; his granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Owsley; and his brothers-in-law, Keil Burwinkle and Bob Underwood.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Snow; his daughters, Carrie Owsley Long (Michael) of Ash Grove, MO and Holli Owsley Hawkins (Wesley) of Niangua, MO; his sister Sharon Burwinkle of Palmyra, MO; his brother-in-law Mike Pontius; his brother Bob; his sister-in-law Tressie Hufford of Monroe, City.; his grandchildren, Amanda Gregory (Ryan), Matt Alcorn Molly Robertson (Cathryn), Tyler Hawkins and Tater Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Kobe Gregory and Sophie Jean Gregory. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Community Loving Care Hospice, or the Foundation at Linn State Technical College of Missouri for the Electrical Distribution Program.
