He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley Porter Sr. and Marjorie Dunn; his siblings, Scott, Donna Cook, Elizabeth and Sue Ann Porter; and his nephew Thomas L. Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; and his children, Wesley Porter (Christin) and Ashley Barnett (Roger). He is also survived by three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
