He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Virgil Criswell and Gertie Criswell (Blair); his wife Zella Criswell (Rose); his children, Ernie Criswell (Anettia), Mike Criswell (Beth), George Battey (Peggy), Angela Stockam (Scott) and Deborah Carbajal; and his brothers, Harold Dean Criswell (Patricia) and Jimmy Criswell (Larrie). He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
