He was predeceased by: his parents, Max B. Herrick and Mary E. Herrick (Loehr); his stepfather Harry Carpenter; his uncle David Loehr; his grandson Adam Herrick; and his siblings, Bernard Herrick, Mickey Herrick, Doug Loehr, Kevin Loehr, Mary Louise Herrick, Shari Lovette and Nancy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Herrick of Peculiar; his children, Robert Herrick (Debra) of Harrisonville, MO, Dennis Herrick (Andrea) and Robbin Abbott (Mike) of Kingsville, MO; his aunt Peggy Loehr of Hermitage, MO; his siblings, James Tavis of Edwardsville, KS, Rick Loehr (Linda), Barbara Strickland (Bill) of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Bates of Battle Creek, MI and Diane Hoover (Bill) of Cedar Springs, MI; his grandchildren, Lori Lenhart-Abbott, Cody Lenhart-Abbott, Clint Herrick, Emma Herrick and Chloe Herrick; his great grandchild Benjamin Abbott; and his pet Millie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
