She was predeceased by: her parents, Icie Decker (Howell) and Chester Bartley Decker; her husband John Wayne "Jack" Welborn; her daughter Donna Karel; and her son-in-law Danny Kolwyck.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Kay Kolwyck of McAlpin, FL; and her grandchildren, Shannon Quick (Jay) of Odessa, MO, Casey Heflin (Joy) of Pleasant Hill, MO, Natasha Stock (Chris) of Loch Lloyd, MO, Lane Farrar (Vanessa), Shaylynn Kolwyck of McAlpin, FL, Seth Farrar of Bucyrus, KS, Kassidy of McAlpin, FL and Josiah Kolwyck of McAlpin, FL. She is also survived by Eleven great-grandchildren; Two great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Education was also very important to her, so she and Jack began the Pleasant Hill Education Foundation/Welborn Family Scholarship for the Pleasant Hill School District.
