She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Curtis and Mary Lou Turpen (Gasaway); her husband Steve Beneke; and her granddaughter Courtney Nicole Batson. She is survived by: her sons, Dale Batson (Pam) of Florence, Terry Batson (Wanda) of Huntsville, Bryan Batson (Laura) of Lansing and Roger Batson (Tina) of Henderson, Nevada; and her siblings, Donna Leibrock of Caltabon Heights, Butch Turpen of Ontario, Joetta Lester of Yucaipa, Anita Hernandez of Harrisonville and Chad Turpen of Santa Rosa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
