He is survived by: his parents, James Allen Thompson, Sr. and Deborah Lawson Thompson; his wife Amy Thompson; his children, Matthew James (Alexandra Young) of Peace Valley, James Allen Thompson, III of Peace Valley and Makayla Dawn Thompson of Peace Valley; and his siblings, Eddie Thompson (Tina Johnson), Shawn Thompson (Meredith), Johnathan Pliler and Amanda Johnson (Chris). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
