He is survived by: his children, Timothy Hardin (Sarah) and Tender Ramsey; his grandchildren, Jasmine Hoover (Liam), Mason Ramsey and Jesse Hardin; his siblings, Dale Hardin, Harold Hardin and Eldonna Williams (Ronald); his wife Susan Parks Hardin; his son Johnny Ray Hardin; his grandson Ashton Lee; and his brothers, Charlie Hardin and Tom Hardin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
