He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Maynard and Clara Raven Maynard; and his sister Marguerite Nettles. He is survived by: his wife Noranna; his children, Tammy Taute, Robert Maynard Jr. of Hobbs, Theresa Nelson of Tennessee and Todd Long of Cape Girardeau; his sister Jeanine Dubose of Florida; and his grandchildren, Charles Sloper, Matraca Sloper, Erin Wise, Addison Long and Keegan Long. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
