He was predeceased by: his parents, Adren McDaniel and Lena McDaniel; his son Marty McDaniel; and his siblings, Helen Sibley, Jannette Wait, Lucille James, Loren McDaniel, Bill McDaniel, Gary McDaniel and Harley McDaniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Guy McDaniel (Jane) and Dane McDaniel; his sister Wynette Wait; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Lore (Nate), Emily Hunter (Haley), Ryan McDaniel, Amber McDaniel and Martin McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Jerzey Ellis, Jason Ellis and Temperance McDaniel.
