He is survived by: his son Wayne Meyer; his grandchildren, Derek and Amanda; and his cousin Judy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Though he was never able to return home to the community he loved directly, he was able to return to Missouri after an extended stay in Arizona through the pandemic and was grateful for the time he was able to spend with his friends and family that visited him.
