She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brown and LoraBelle Richey; her son Dennis Smith; and her brother Jack Gaines. She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Slusher (Sandy) of Goldsboro, NC, Barbara Jones of Patterson and Karen Smith-Clopton (Freddie) of Bellevue, NE; her sister Barbara McCauley of Maynard, AR.; and her grandchildren, Erin Mize, Terence Herrera, Weston Herrera, Steffen Herrera, Seth Slusher and Brooke Dail. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
