With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oran Robert Shearrer of Patterson, Missouri, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Lee and Maude Shearrer (Odell); his spouse Jerald F. Taylor; and his siblings, Cleacy Shearrer, Marie Hobart and Norma DuBay.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Shearrer (Janet) of Patterson and Linda Skaggs (Donald) of Arnold; his grandchildren, Chandler Shearrer (Carolyn), Tara Williams (Gary), Robert Skaggs (Cheryl) and Emily Hall (Mike); his great grandchildren, Caileigh, Caiden, Garrett, Charles, Grayson, Asher, Isabel, Jadon, Elliana, Ruby, Charlotte and Josiah; his brother Clyde Shearrer of Patterson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Taylor (Betty) of St. Louis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
