She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Bruce and Jessie Marie Ward; and her husband George Otto May. She is survived by: her children, Debra Marie Chilton (James), Lisa Diann Diamond (Brian) and George David May; and her grandchildren, April Marvin (Eric), Justenia Tinsley (Ben), Reyeshelle Whitaker, Nathan Chilton, David Andrew Nowlin and Kayla Nowlin.
