He was predeceased by: his parents, Spirel Thompson and Cleo Thompson (Frye); and his siblings, Dorris Hassell (Clarence), Lavetta Garrett (Ralph), Shirley Thompson, Edwin Thompson, Elroy Thompson and Gene Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Thompson (Lyn) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Jim Thompson (Vicky) of Springville, IN and Christine Thompson of Poplar Bluff; his stepson Brent Bollinger of Piedmont; his brother Dale Thompson (Monica) of Steelville; his grandchildren, Andrew Thompson, Becky Weber (Robert), Tommy Weber, Jessica Brady, Jane Kever (Michael), Bobby Brady, Vanessa Thompson and William Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Wayne Herrin Jr., Trinity Kever and Mike Kever Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
