With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis L. Smith of Patterson, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepfather Bill Slusher. He is survived by: his mother Sue Slusher of Patterson; his siblings, Billy Slusher (Sandy) of Goldsboro, NC, Barbara Jones of Patterson, MO and Karen Smith-Clopton (Freddie) of Bellevue, NE; his half-brother Steve Smith of St. Louis, MO; and his close friend Joyce Brewster of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
