He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Bennett and Opal B. Bennett (White); his wife Melba Hughes; and his siblings, George Bennett and Betty Jo Ruble.
He is survived by: his son Bobbie Otto Bennett Jr. (Sharice) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Bobbie Otto Bennett III and Briana Jean Bennett; and his sisters, Geneva Evelyn Hand of Patterson, Melva Seal of Piedmont and Jeri Vegyelek (Joe) of St. Louis. He is also survived by his family and friends.
